Three acoustic guitar pieces composed/improvised specifically for someone - not something I am usually given to, with these being about the only ones.

The first recorded back in 2008 and dedicated to one of my favourite guitarists on the planet, Madala Kunene from Durban, South Africa. An inspiration whom I always look forward to more from and always go back to. The first listen I had of "King of the Zulu Guitar Live" on the Melt2000 label was mind altering.

The second, recorded in 2005, on the occasion of the wonderful actor Brock Peters' passing.

The third one, from a late quarantine night in April 2020, is for Cathy Phelan - a friend, colleague, and bright light in the world gone too soon.

All acoustic guitars, no overdubs, only live flubs.
Recorded with a Santa Cruz 000 and Collings Baritone
